Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Research Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular and cellular biology techniques, including qPCR, flow cytometry, cell culture, Western blotting, and Luminex assays. The role involves leading experimental design, data analysis, and contributing to the development of novel research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: - qPCR: Design and optimize qPCR assays, analyze gene expression data, and validate results.
- Flow Cytometry: Perform cell sorting and analysis, develop new protocols, and interpret complex flow cytometry data. Experience in working with tumor samples is required.
- Cell Culture: Maintain and culture various cell lines, including primary and immortalized cells, and manage experimental conditions.
- Western Blotting: Execute and troubleshoot Western blot experiments, including protein transfer, antibody staining, and data analysis.
- Luminex Assays: Conduct multiplex assays, analyze cytokine profiles, and ensure accurate and reproducible results.
- ADME Assays: Experience with ADME assays is a plus.
- Education: Master s degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with qPCR, flow cytometry, cell culture, Western blotting, and Luminex assays.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in experimental design, data interpretation, and troubleshooting techniques related to the above methods.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for preparing reports and presenting findings.
- Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and mentor junior scientists.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and precision in all aspects of work.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
- Innovative Thinking: Ability to think critically and creatively to develop and implement new methodologies.
- Time Management: Effective time management skills to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines.
