Job Description

Job Responsibilities :

- Work with the Group IT Service Delivery Head and CIO to strategize, manage, integrate, and coordinate the overall IT roadmap for NHIC.

- Manage a comprehensive internal and external application and infrastructure services team dedicated to NHIC, review the service level agreements, and establish productivity targets to them.

- Ensure adherence to IT service delivery processes including maintenance, operational support, optimization, business continuity, and quality management / ITSM.

- Analyses complex business needs presented by the relevant NHIC business teams and recommends optimal technical solutions.

- Supervises special analyses, such as requirements analysis, system feasibility studies, systems selection, and process improvement projects.

- Serve as the senior liaison between IT and other support departments such as

- Human Resources, Supply Chain, Clinical, Finance, Marketing, etc.

- Work with the CIO and COO's office in developing annual NHIC IT budgets and identify/implement plans to optimize costs.

- Develops/contributes to IT business plans, staffing, and process decisions that support both the long-term and the short-term objectives of the company.

- Develops and communicates business/technology alignment plans to executive team, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders.

- Ensure adherence to information security and privacy requirements of NHIC business as published from time to time.

- Keeps abreast of health-tech trends, compliance and information security requirements.

- Ensure complete implementation and tracking of the access control, disaster recovery, and business continuity needs of the organization.

- Initiate, recommend, and approves human resources actions including hiring, terminations, and disciplinary actions.

- Enhance the utilization of the hospital information system, advanced clinical systems, and customer relationship management systems across NHIC.

- Implements strategies to grow and develop the workforce, including new and emerging skills needed.

Candidate Requirements :

- 15+ years' experience in IT of which 5 years relevant experience in Healthcare IT desirable..

- Excellent communication skills are needed to interact with team members, executive management, and partner suppliers.

- Experience with organizational leadership, culture, and behaviour change management and transformation.

- Strong analytical skills to develop effective strategies, determine project risks, and plan product development.


- Strong negotiating skills.

- Perform effectively in a complex changing environment with proven successes in collaboration, communication, critical thinking, & future planning.

- Extensive knowledge of enterprise software applications, outsourcing standard practices, integration, interoperability, and information exchange standard practices.

- Certification in Project Management and prior project management experience in clinical information systems preferred.

- Experience in working in a business start-up environment will be highly desirable.

- Documented success in addressing business needs with information management solutions and practices and leading the design, development, deployment, and support of clinical information systems.

- Proven ability to organize and effectively manage a complex, cross-segment business change initiative.

- Ability to analyse and present data to influence behaviour, stimulates innovation, promote best practices, and drive organizational change.

- Demonstrated leadership ability and interpersonal effectiveness required to work collaboratively with multiple disciplines, e.g., administrative staff, external agencies, and vendors.

- Capable of consistently exercising diplomacy, patience, and tact.

- Ability to manage silos, confront issues and work toward to collaborative solutions.

- Solid experience in understanding clinical workflow.

- Organizational skills, along with attention to detail, and the ability to achieve deadlines in a complex
