Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Python Backend Developer with a strong background in Python and extensive experience in serverless architecture, microservices, and data pipeline management at scale. As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers with 2 to 5 years of experience, driving team mandates for data pipelines, and managing databases at scale.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other related technologies.

- Build and manage automated testing and deployment pipelines using GitHub and Codepipeline.

- Architect and implement efficient data pipelines and workflows to handle large-scale data

processing.

- Manage and optimize databases, including DynamoDB, Postgres, and S3, to ensure high

performance and reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize features and improvements.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the

team.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Python.

- Proven experience in designing and building serverless applications and microservices.

- Extensive knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and others.

- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and systems design.

- Proficiency in Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

- Experience with automated testing and deployment tools such as GitHub, Codepipeline, and others.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire a team.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern web development practices.

- A passion for quality and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in managing and optimizing databases at scale.

- Knowledge of web servers and Linux operating systems.

- Previous experience working in a startup environment.
