PLM System Management: Implement, configure, and manage the PLM software and tools to streamline product design, development, and manufacturing processes.
Product Data Management (PDM): Oversee the management of product data, ensuring all documents, designs, and revisions are correctly stored and easily accessible within the PLM system.
Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, manufacturing, etc. ) to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in the product lifecycle process.
Collaboration and Integration: Ensure seamless integration between PLM systems and other enterprise systems like ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CAD (Computer-Aided Design), and CRM (Customer Relationship Management).
Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on the PLM systems functionality, updates, and best practices.
Change Management: Coordinate change management processes, including handling design changes, revisions, and updates to product specifications.
Data Quality and Compliance: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal requirements.
Customization and Development: Work with IT teams or vendors to customize the PLM software to fit the specific needs of the organization.
Reporting and Documentation: Generate reports and documentation for product data, change logs, and other relevant metrics to support decision-making and track progress.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in engineering, Electrical/Electronics, or related field.
Proven experience with PLM systems (e. g. , Oracle PD, Siemens Teamcenter, or similar).
Strong understanding of product lifecycle management processes and methodologies.
Proficiency in product data management (PDM) and related tools.
Familiarity with ERP, CAD, and other enterprise software integration.
Knowledge of change management processes in engineering and manufacturing.
