SRE Engineer

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

As an Individual contributor, SRE, you will act as a tech contributor to Site Reliability, Automation and Software Engineers based in Bengaluru, working closely with their counterparts in US to drive the adoption, operations, orchestration, securing, monitoring, and optimization of Verint s Cloud platforms. You will contribute to our vision and mission in close collaboration with your Engineering stakeholders, colleagues in Verint Cloud. Also, you will play a key role in delivering capabilities that contribute to department-level objectives and initiatives.

You will be responsible for grooming and coaching engineers, unlocking creativity, and inspiring and lead by example to build the best solutions for users, and internal clients. You are comfortable with ambiguity, yet you excel at learning and driving clarity. You take end-to-end delivery of your area and embrace iteration, believing that Shift Left and failure and failing fast is a key part of building great travel tech.

You will work closely with product leaders and engineering leaders across Verint to ensure alignment with our vision and break down silos.

• Technical Contributions
• Inspire with tech inputs and contribution and empower multiple multi-functional product teams
• Groom and develop junior engineering talent in the team, technically
• Provide critical inputs to Tech decision making and guidance
• Building software applications
• Automation and toil reduction
• Monitoring and Alerting improvements
• Continuous Quality and Process Improvement
• Thought contributor for Product to define, shape and deliver the roadmap initiatives
• Stakeholder engagement and management
• Architectural inputs
• Drive innovation among the Junior developers and engineers

Minimum Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical degree, or equivalent industry experience required.
• 5+ years maintaining Automation Infrastructure
• 4+ Years DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering experience as an Individual contributor
• 3+ years in servicing customers in fast paced agile environments
• 4+ years in AWS/GCP, Terraform, Datadog and Public/Private cloud implementations
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of requirements gathering and prioritization
• Successfully interacted and coordinated with remote teams

Additional Requirements:

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to transform technical knowledge into reports, presentations, etc.
• Ability to communicate technical topics to Junior engineers and developers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong tech contribution skills with the ability to perform complex scheduling and control
• Demonstrated ability to influence individuals, lead teams and work effectively with CloudOps leadership
