Job Description
- Our company is seeking a tech-savvy Server Engineer who has technical know-how of how to design and manage servers with different operating system across locations within an organization. It s imperative that candidate have strong communication skills to assist users with queries.
Job Responsibilities :
Job Requirements : - As a Server Engineer at our company, candidate will :
- - Work with IT team, Developers and end users to manage infrastructure that has been setup.
- - Design, implement and maintain various infrastructure solutions.
- - Maintain various servers which run on different operating systems like Windows and Linux.
- - Ensure servers are on latest security patch to prevent unauthorized access.
- - Ensure adequate logging and monitoring setup for various servers.
- - Liaise with users when outages and planned maintenance need to take place.
- - Deployment of applications on different platforms like JAVA, DOTNET, ANDROID, IOS etc.
- - Implement and maintain database backups.
- Our ideal Server Engineer will have :
- - 3+ years of experience
- - The ability to think critically and dynamically for each task.
- - Excellent communication skills.
- - Strong technical background.
- - Working with modern server tools and different technologies like AWS, ALIBABA, JAVA, DOTNET, DEVOPS, SSL etc.
