Velox Solutions - Senior Java Developer - Spring Boot/Hibernate (2-3 yrs)

About the Job :

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Java Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in Java development with expertise in Spring Boot, Restful API development, and a strong foundation in related Java technologies.

Basic knowledge of React is an added advantage but not mandatory.

You will work in an Agile team environment to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements and technical architecture.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze and understand business requirements to create technical designs.

- Develop and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Restful APIs.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Collaborate within Agile teams to ensure timely delivery of development and maintenance projects.

- Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.

- Implement tools for unit testing and automate routine tasks to improve productivity.

- Work with front-end technologies such as React for enhancements when required.

- Ensure deployment readiness by preparing build and deployment processes.

- Perform environment validations and conduct pre-production and production testing.

- Provide support for maintenance projects on a rotational basis.

Required Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Core Java and Spring Boot.

- Expertise in developing and consuming Restful APIs.

- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.

- Experience with Java-based frameworks like Hibernate or JPA.

- Familiarity with Multithreading, Concurrency, and Data Structures & Algorithms.

- Knowledge of database operations, including writing optimized SQL queries.

- Exposure to tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar for API testing.

- Basic understanding of React for front-end development (optional).

- Hands-on experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and problem resolution in Java applications.

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Java application development.

- Exposure to microservices architecture is a strong advantage.

- Basic knowledge of React or other front-end frameworks is a plus but not required.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Flexibility to work on a rotational support schedule.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
