Project Manager

Job Description

• Minimum of [8] years of experience in managing large-scale telecommunications or network projects, with at least [4] years focused on 5G Core network technologies.
• Hands-on experience with 5G Core network architecture, including 5GC, NFV, IMS, and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
• Lead and manage end-to-end 5G Core network projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Report project status, including progress, risks, and challenges, to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Technical Leadership:
• Provide technical leadership in the implementation, and optimization of 5G Core network solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. RAN, Integration Testing) to ensure seamless integration and deployment of 5G Core technologies.
• Oversee the technical feasibility and integration of various core network components such as Cloud-native architectures, NFVI, 5G Core (5GC), IMS, AMF, SMF, UPF, UDR, PCF etc.
• Understanding of Features like VONR, LI etc.
• Familiarity with understanding of 3GPP specifications related to various core components.
• Familiarity with 5G Core protocols such as S1, X2, N1, N2, and N3 interfaces.
• Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).
• Expertise to handle tools like JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins BitBucket.
• Project Management:
• Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and specifications.
• Develop and maintain risk management plans to proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks.
• Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to improve future project delivery.
