Material Management Executive / Purchase Executive

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and optimize storage space to ensure efficient use of resources.
  
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials on time and within budget, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  
• Develop strong relationships with vendors through effective communication, negotiation, and vendor development strategies.
  
• Plan and execute purchasing activities according to established plans, prioritizing needs based on business requirements.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards throughout the entire procurement process.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 1-5 years of experience in material management or purchase executive role in an industrial equipment/machinery industry setting.
  
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles, including forecasting demand and managing supply chain logistics.
  
• Excellent communication skills for building strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., production teams) as well as external partners (e.g., suppliers).
  
• Ability to analyze data to inform decision-making around purchasing decisions; proficiency in using software tools such as Excel or similar programs.
