Job Description
- Oversee regular maintenance of the fleet, including scheduled servicing, oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and other necessary repairs.
- Ensure that vehicles are well-maintained, reducing the risk of breakdowns and ensuring safety during operations.
- Coordinate emergency repairs when vehicles break down or encounter mechanical issues.
- Manage the inspection and repair of both company-owned and leased vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
Maintenance Scheduling and Planning:
- Develop and implement a maintenance schedule to ensure that all vehicles in the fleet are serviced on time, reducing the chances of unexpected repairs.
- Monitor vehicle usage and performance to predict potential issues and schedule preventative maintenance proactively.
- Keep track of vehicle mileage, hours of operation, and other relevant metrics to plan for upcoming maintenance and inspections.
