ServiceNow Developer - ITBM/HRSD Modules (5-7 yrs)

Job Overview :

- As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a crucial role in implementing and customizing ServiceNow applications and solutions to meet our business needs.

- You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, system architects, and project managers, to design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

- You will ensure that ServiceNow applications are aligned with industry best practices and our client's requirements while maintaining scalability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy custom applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, etc.

- Customize ServiceNow forms, workflows, tables, and UI components according to client requirements.

- Develop and configure ServiceNow orchestration, integrations, and automation to streamline workflows.

- Write and maintain high-quality, reusable, and scalable code in ServiceNow using JavaScript, ServiceNow Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions, and Client Scripts.

- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems and external applications using REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, MID Server integration, and other technologies.

- Ensure seamless data flow between ServiceNow and external applications or platforms.

- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring data consistency and security between systems.

- Configure core features of ServiceNow including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, and other ITIL processes.

- Develop and configure ServiceNow interfaces and dashboards for monitoring key metrics, reports, and data visualizations.

- Customize user interfaces (UI) using UI Pages, UI Macros, and UI Actions to ensure a smooth and user-friendly experience.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts to optimize workflows and reduce manual interventions.

- Create and deploy Scheduled Jobs, Business Rules, and Script Includes for automating tasks.

- Utilize ServiceNow's Flow Designer to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.

- Work closely with clients and business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into ServiceNow solutions.

- Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to gather and define technical requirements for customizations and integrations.

- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance for ServiceNow users and clients.

Required Skills and Experience :

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, and other ServiceNow modules.

- Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, ServiceNow Scripting, UI Scripts, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes.

- Experience with integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP Web Services, and MID Servers.

- Familiarity with ServiceNow development tools like Flow Designer, ServiceNow Studio, and Application Navigator.

- Strong understanding of database design and management within ServiceNow (Tables, Relationships, and Data Dictionary).

- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and integration of automated deployment processes.

- Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and how they integrate with ServiceNow.

- Understanding of ServiceNow security principles, roles, access control rules, and user authentication.

Experience :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a proven track record of implementing and customizing ServiceNow solutions in a production environment.

- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, Security Incident Management (SIM), and other ServiceNow modules.

- Experience with ServiceNow integrations (e.g, with LDAP, Active Directory, Jira, Slack, etc.

- Knowledge of ITIL best practices and methodologies.

- ServiceNow Certified Developer or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is preferred.

- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices in ServiceNow development
