Valor PayTech - Senior Python Developer - Backend Architecture (5-7 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications for payment processing systems.

- Architect and deploy scalable cloud solutions using AWS services (such as Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS).

- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable development plans.

- Optimize existing systems for performance, security, and scalability while adhering to best practices.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration and deployment.

- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development, testing, and production environments.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and technologies related to Python development and payment systems.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 5+ years of experience in Python development, with a strong focus on web applications.

- Proven experience with AWS services and architecture, with hands-on experience in deploying applications in the cloud.

- Familiarity with payment gateways and experience in payment processing systems.

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and best security practices.

- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript frameworks) is a plus.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams
