Provide technical support for quotation and application team during quotation phase.
Evaluate customer specifications to ensure selected instrumentation and product meets the requirements and determine feasibility of manufacturing by working with appropriate teams.
Liaise with product management to ensure that products and services are modified, configured, and offered according to customer needs.
Actively participate in executing task schedules to ensure timely completion of all assigned duties. Works independently to complete given tasks and activities,
Participate in COE development projects as needed.
Shall be willing to take additional responsibility for Processing orders, handling post order activities such as Drawings, Quality plans and help the support function for smooth execution and invoicing of the order.
Shall be willing to take additional responsibility/ roles as an Application Engineer and preparation of complete control valve package based on customer specifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability
Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent technical degree with 3-5 years of related engineering experience.
Microsoft Office and general computer proficiency.
Effective oral and written communications skills.
Maintain a positive attitude, work flexibility, promote teamwork and exhibit a professional manner with customers and co-workers.
Experience in control valve/actuator or similar Industry is necessary
Experience of working in multinational company is a plus.
Experience with Product Data Management and ERP system
Experience in fluid flow and pneumatics
Demonstrated experience with PID s (piping instrumentation diagrams) a plus.
Experience relating to instrumentation/automation engineering a plus.
