Microsoft Technical Architect

Overview:

We are seeking a talented Microsoft Technical Architect to join our team and drive the development of high-quality software solutions using a wide range of Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with .NET (including .NET Framework and .NET Core), C#, ASP.NET (MVC and WebForms), VB.NET, and related technologies. This role will focus on designing and implementing scalable, maintainable applications that meet our business objectives

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the architectural vision for projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
• Create scalable, maintainable, and high-performance architectures using Microsoft technologies such as .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.Net MVC, ASP.Net WebForms and Azure
• Provide technical direction and support to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications built using VB.NET and VB 6.0, ensuring continuity and performance.
• Architect and deploy cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure, including services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database
• Transition legacy systems to modern architectures while ensuring minimal disruption.
• Architect and deploy cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Implement cloud best practices to optimize application performance and cost efficiency.
• Develop and manage RESTful and SOAP-based APIs for seamless integration with internal and external systems, using technologies like WCF and Web Services.
• Utilize BizTalk Server for enterprise application integration, enabling efficient data flow between applications.
• Integrate and customize Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions to improve customer relationship management and data accessibility.
• Design and optimize XML and XSL solutions for effective data transformation and presentation.
• Implement multi-tier client/server architecture and apply design patterns to promote maintainability and scalability in software development.
• Conduct Object-Oriented Analysis and Programming (OOA/OOP) to ensure high-quality software design.

Who You Are:

• 10 to 15 years of software development experience with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies, including .NET, C#, VB.NET, and Microsoft Azure.
• Over 3 years in an architectural role, with a proven track record of designing and implementing solutions using ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET WebForms, and WCF.
• Strong understanding of Azure services and architecture best practices to create scalable, cloud-native applications.
• Proficient in XML and XSL, with experience in designing multi-tier architectures for robust application development.
• Solid knowledge of client-side technologies, including jQuery and CSS, to create responsive user interfaces.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and enterprise integration solutions using BizTalk Server, enabling effective data exchange and workflow automation.
