Job Description

Summary of Role

We are looking for a Junior IT System Engineer , as part of the Information Technology (IT) Team. Your primary focus will be providing operational and technical support within the company to ensure that issues and requests are responded in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide new staff with laptop/account setup and orientation as part of employee on-boarding process and maintain user management tasks on daily basis.
Perform inspections to ensure IT systems and equipment are operational.
Provide Adhoc technical support on a daily basis.
Support IT asset inventorying and management in India.
Escalate issues to L2 support or above when necessary.

Requirements

Bachelor s Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of working experience in IT support.
Working experience in administration of Mac OS, and/or Linux systems .
Experience in support roles, desktop support or IT Helpdesk Technician roles .
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
o Databases, Network management, Server management
o Microsoft Word and Excel
A strong self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast moving and growing environment.
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills.
