Calpine Group - AWS Cloud Engineer (3-7 yrs)

Job Description :

- Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions on the AWS platform.

- This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, security, and best practices, as well as experience in automation and DevOps methodologies.

- Experience in cloud technology, with a focus on AWS.

- Strong proficiency in AWS services, architecture, and best practices.

- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g, Docker, Kubernetes).

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices (e.g, Jenkins, GitLab).

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures on AWS.

- Manage and optimize AWS resources and services, including EKS, Farget, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.

- Develop automation scripts for deployment and configuration management using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions into existing applications and workflows.

- Implement security best practices and compliance standards for cloud environments.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

- Stay up-to-date with AWS services and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations.

- AWS certifications (e.g, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are preferred.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
