Engineering Manager - MERN Stack Technologies (7-8 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP). The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in managing development teams, and a deep understanding of modern web development practices. You will play a pivotal role in driving technical projects, ensuring high-quality delivery, and fostering a collaborative engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of projects.

2. Architect, design, and oversee the implementation of scalable web applications using the MERN stack.

3. Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements.

4. Drive cloud infrastructure adoption and optimization using services like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

5. Set up CI/CD pipelines and automate workflows for efficient development processes.

6. Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to the development team.

7. Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables to ensure project goals are met.

8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2. Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Technical Lead with 7+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development.

3.Expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).

4. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).

5. Experience in managing and deploying microservices and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

6. Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

8. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
