Engineer:Production Planning & Control (Full Time Role).
Production Planning & Control is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of our production processes.
This role involves overseeing all facets of production, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with vendors and internal teams.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication & organizational skills, ERP expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
He shall be reporting to Manager Production planning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:.
Production Planning and Scheduling:.
Develop comprehensive production plans and schedules for the wadding line to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.
Collaborate with departments such as procurement, engineering, and logistics to ensure timely availability of materials.
Resource Management:.
Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement of materials and supplies.
Process Improvement:.
Identify opportunities for Nonwoven process optimization and efficiency improvements.
Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant methodologies to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
Team Coordination.
Facilitate communication between production teams, quality control, and other relevant departments.
Organize and lead production meetings to review progress, address challenges, and implement improvements.
Documentation And Reporting:.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including schedules, inventory levels, and quality control data.
Prepare and present regular reports on production status, performance metrics, and any issues encountered.
Quality Control:.
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Implement corrective actions as needed to address quality issues.
Process Improvement:.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Collaborate with teams to implement best practices and optimize production efficiency.
Skills:.

Qualification And Experience:.
Degree or diploma in a relevant field; proven experience in production or a related role.
5 to 10 years of experience in a leadership capacity within a manufacturing environment.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify process bottlenecks and implement improvements.
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
Proactive problem-solving aptitude with a results-driven focus.
Willingness to relocate to the vicinity of the factory in Umbergaon/Vapi.
