Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, including invoicing, expense reports, and payroll. Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and summaries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and analyze variances to identify areas for improvement. Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic planning and decision-making. Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits, and address any issues or findings. Prepare and submit regulatory reports, tax filings, and other required documentation. Staff Management:
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure efficient operation and workflow. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and guidance to improve team performance. Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
