Senior Systems Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have extensive hands-on experience working with Dell servers, VMware, Oracle, and Linux. The candidate should be based in Noida or Greater Noida and possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dell Server Management: Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Dell PowerEdge servers and associated storage solutions.
• VMware Administration: Manage and optimize VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and virtualized environments.
• Oracle Database Support: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases on Linux platforms, ensuring high availability and performance tuning.
• Linux Administration: Configure, manage, and secure Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu), including scripting and automation.
• System Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, patches, and updates for servers and databases.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Use monitoring tools to analyze performance and troubleshoot server, virtualization, and database issues.
• Technical Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive system documentation and provide regular performance reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 14+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, server administration, and virtualization.
• Expertise in Dell server hardware, RAID configurations, and firmware updates.
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and virtualization troubleshooting.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle database installation, configuration, performance tuning, and backup strategies.
• Advanced proficiency in Linux system administration, shell scripting, and automation.
• Experience with server security hardening, patch management, and compliance standards.
• Ability to work independently and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Certifications such as VMware VCP, Dell EMC Certification, Oracle DBA, RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with backup solutions like Veeam, CommVault, or Dell EMC Data Protection.
