Special Educator / SEN Teacher

To work as Special Education Teacher, who specializes in teaching children with physical, mental, emotional, and learning disabilities. To develop tailored teaching plans, collaborate with parents and support staff, and assess students' progress to help them achieve important learning milestones.

To plan and teach lessons, work with small groups and individual students. prepare teaching materials, take registers and write reports. To help students develop confidence, independence and encourage them to learn. To manage behaviour & learning of students and talk to parents about their children's progress.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, in collaboration with parents, other educators, and related service providers.
Provide direct instruction to students in a variety of settings, including small group and one-on-one instruction.
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and assistive technologies to meet the unique learning needs of each student.
Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and development.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
Collaborate with other members of the educational team to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to student support.
Maintain accurate student records and participate in required meetings and professional development activities.
