About Position:
Powertrain Engineering, Bangalore is looking for
Lead Feature Leader

Purpose:
To lead testing and simulation activities of powertrain products for heavy and medium duty trucks. To motivate team members and drive team to solve complex engineering problems. Accountable for the lifecycle management of our products, from advanced engineering, through product development into the maintenance phase.

Role description:
As Lead Engineer for Product validation and Feature Management, you are responsible for following functions -
Powertrain Verification and Validation, Feature Management, Quality review of Projects.

As feature leader and verification engineer, your deliverables are
Define feature level and targets along with product planning, project management etc.
Define verification methods to verify target.
To coordinate with vehicle testing team and other test agencies to perform testing.
Deliver testing activities on time and report generation to project.
Define instrumentation need for project and set up test object.
Lead test engineers to deliver verification objectives.
Coordinate with multiple cross functional stakeholders and team members locally and globally.

Required Skills:
Knowledge in Powertrain testing, testing methods and preparing Design Verification Plans (DVP s).
Knowledge in measurement equipment s and methods
Knowledge about reliability and durability
Structured in planning and documentation work.
Problem solving/Decision making.
Analytical skill and presentation to local and global team.

Expectation:
Good and proven experience in domain of Powertrain VV, Simulation, etc.
Good understanding of instrumentation on engine test cell and vehicle.
Good knowledge on vehicle duty cycles and impact of that on verification
Experience in cross-functional team activity participation, communication, and people skills
Experience in areas of Activity Planning, Budget estimates and Work force strategy preparations
Excellent knowledge of the Commercial vehicle markets and applications in India and Asia
Demonstrated and launched initiatives towards Customer-centricity
Driven Continuous improvement of ways of working with a focus on simplification.

Required qualifications for the position:
Masters/bachelor s in mechanical equivalent Engineering domains. With more than 10+ years of experience.
