Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team at Pallet. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches our companyvision and is suitable for various platforms.
Your duties will include reviewing shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list. you'll cut footage in a way that tells a cohesive and compelling story. You will also be responsible for adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics and inputting music, dialogs, graphics, and effects.
Responsibilities:
Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
Take a brief to grasp the production teams needs and specifications
Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes value and contribution to continuity
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
Input music, dialogs, graphics, and effects
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry s best practices to maximize efficiency
Requirements
Requirements
Any PG/UG Graduates.
Minimum 1 year of video editing and post-production experience
Deep understanding of digital trends and editing principles
Bachelors degree in Film or related field
Proven work experience as a Video Editor
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages
Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Creative mind and storytelling skills
