Tushti International Pvt Ltd. is looking for SCM Executives to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.The Assistant Manager - Supply Chain Management (SCM) is responsible for assisting the SCM Manager in planning, implementing, and managing supply chain operations to ensure efficient and effective movement of goods and services. They collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to optimize processes, minimize costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Planning: Assist in developing and implementing supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures to meet organizational objectives. Collaborate with the SCM Manager to establish production plans, inventory targets, and procurement strategies.
Procurement and Vendor Management: Support the procurement process by sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Maintain relationships with vendors, evaluate their performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing carrying costs. Monitor inventory turnover, analyze stock levels, and implement strategies to optimize inventory control and reduce obsolescence.
Logistics and Distribution: Coordinate transportation and logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of goods. Collaborate with logistics providers, warehouse teams, and transportation carriers to streamline operations, track shipments, and resolve any issues that arise.
Demand Forecasting and Planning: Assist in analyzing historical data, market trends, and customer forecasts to develop accurate demand forecasts. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align production plans and inventory levels with anticipated demand.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize supply chain processes and implement best practices. Continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct data analysis, and propose and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions. Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and geopolitical factors that may impact the supply chain, and proactively address any associated risks.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including production, sales, finance, and customer service, to ensure effective coordination across different departments. Foster strong relationships and communication channels to align objectives and resolve any interdepartmental issues.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather and analyze supply chain data to generate insights and performance reports. Present findings and recommendations to management, highlighting areas for improvement and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Previous experience in supply chain management or a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of Supply Chain Principles: Strong understanding of supply chain concepts, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand planning. Familiarity with supply chain software and tools is an advantage.
Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis and interpretation to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement. Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or supply chain analytics software is desirable.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors. Ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Problem-solving Abilities: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and propose effective solutions. Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to Detail: Thoroughness and accuracy in managing supply chain data, documentation, and processes. Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams. Experience in mentoring and developing team members is a plus.
Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment, adapting to new technologies, processes, and market conditions.
Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, customs, and trade compliance requirements.
