We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Networking Engineer to join our IT team. As a Networking Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our network infrastructure. You will ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of both local and wide-area networks (LAN/WAN), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the organization's business goals.
Key Responsibilities Network Design & Architecture: Design, configure, and deploy network solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks to meet organizational requirements.
Network Management & Optimization: Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to identify issues and implement solutions for network optimization and capacity planning.
Security: Implement and maintain network security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), VPNs, and encryption technologies to protect data and network resources.
Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, servers, and wireless access points (APs).
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues and hardware failures. Act as the primary point of contact for network-related issues and escalations.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, topology, and policies. Provide regular reports on network performance and incident response.
Collaboration: Work with IT teams, software engineers, and vendors to support projects, implement new technologies, and ensure smooth integration of network solutions.
Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to industry standards, best practices, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and other relevant frameworks.
Network Monitoring & Maintenance: Utilize network monitoring tools to continuously assess network performance, identify vulnerabilities, and plan for ongoing network improvements.
Training & Support: Provide training and technical support for end-users and internal teams to resolve network-related issues and ensure proper usage of network resources.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Network Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is typically required.
