Job Summary:

Tulsi Rubber Products Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and experienced Quality Control Incharge to oversee quality inspection, assembly processes, and adherence to quality procedures in the manufacturing of rubber hoses. The candidate will be responsible for managing a team of quality inspectors, ensuring accurate inspection procedures, and maintaining proper documentation and data analysis to support continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage quality inspectors, ensuring adherence to inspection protocols and work instructions.
• Ensure accurate inspection of rubber hoses at different production stages, including incoming, in-process, and final inspection.
• Ensure proper assembly procedures are followed and verify finished product quality before dispatch.
• Utilize quality control tools for effective monitoring, including 8D, CAPA, SPC, MSA, and control charts.
• Ensure inspectors are proficient in the use of vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, scales, and other precision measurement instruments.
• Conduct regular training and guidance sessions for inspectors on quality standards and process improvements.
• Identify non-conformities, initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and support root cause analysis.
• Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and test data, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Analyze quality inspection data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to enhance process efficiency.
• Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Conduct internal audits, assist in customer audits, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Ensure 5S, workplace safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Rubber Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 5-10 years in quality control in a rubber hose or similar manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of rubber processing, extrusion, and assembly requirements.
• Hands-on experience with QC tools and techniques such as 8D problem-solving, CAPA, FMEA, and SPC.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in using measurement instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and scales.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and other relevant quality standards.
• Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively supervise inspectors.
• Proficiency in data analysis, report preparation, and quality documentation.
