Overview:

This two-year retainership investment associate program provides the opportunity to work closely with CWCs Investment Team, gaining exposure to evaluating companies, building financial models, and formulating investment theses. This program is extendable by a year and exceptional performers may be offered a full-time role within the organization.

Role Highlights:

- Work closely and learn from the CWC Investment Team.

- Evaluate existing portfolio companies and potential investment opportunities across public markets.

- Build detailed financial models, develop investment hypotheses, and gain insights from market experts.

- Communicate with on-ground industry experts to inform and refine investment decisions.

Program Structure

- Duration: 2-year contract, extendable by 1 year based on performance.

- Location: On-site, Mumbai.

- Compensation: Fixed Pay + Retention pay (completion of year 1 & 2 each) + Variable pay as per policy.

Eligibility:

- Strong passion for equity investing.

- Educational Qualifications: MBA, CA, CFA, or B. Eng.

- Under 2 years of work experience

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Evaluate existing portfolio companies and potential investment opportunities across public markets

- Regularly monitor portfolio performance and market dynamics to identify risks and opportunities.

- Analyse potential investments by assessing valuation, growth potential, and market trends.

- Recommend portfolio adjustments based on performance and emerging opportunities.

- Build detailed financial models, develop investment hypotheses, and gain insights from market experts

- Create comprehensive models to project performance and valuations.

- Develop investment theses by identifying growth catalysts, competitive advantages, or undervaluation.

- Validate strategies through insights from analysts and industry professionals.

- Communicate with on-ground industry experts to refine investment decisions

- Engage with industry insiders for actionable insights on market dynamics, consumer trends, and risks.

- Use expert input to adjust assumptions and enhance investment strategies.

- Stay updated on emerging trends, technological shifts, and regulatory changes.
