Job Description:
Experience: 4-5 Years (D2C Experience Mandatory)
Role Overview: As a Marketplace Manager, you will manage and scale Nap Chiefs presence across online marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, etc.) to drive visibility, sales, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Category Growth Strategy:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow product categories aligned with company goals.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps within the kidswear segment.
- Collaborate with design and merchandising teams to align the product lineup with market demands.
2. Sales & Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze sales data, market share, and profitability metrics.
- Generate actionable reports on category performance and identify growth opportunities.
3. Product Development & Lifecycle Management:
- Coordinate with vendors, design, and supply chain teams for timely product launches.
- Manage product lifecycles from inception to phase-out, maximizing revenue and profitability.
4. Pricing & Promotions:
- Develop competitive pricing strategies to balance market positioning and profitability.
- Plan and execute category-specific marketing campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
5. Inventory & Supply Chain Management:
- Work with operations and supply chain teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Ensure high fulfillment rates by minimizing stockouts and overstocks.
6. Team Collaboration:
- Partner with performance marketing teams to enhance product visibility across platforms.
- Collaborate with marketplace teams to optimize listings and drive category growth.
7. Customer Insights:
- Use customer feedback and behavior analytics to refine product categories.
- Ensure assortments align with customer preferences and Nap Chiefs brand values.
Qualifications/Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in category management, merchandising, or a similar role, ideally in the fashion or kidswear industry.
- Proven success in driving category growth and achieving sales targets.
