Job Description
The Assistant Instructional Design Manager (AIDM) will be responsible for overseeing the creation, development, and implementation of high-quality training programs and learning solutions for clients. This role will lead a team of instructional designers and graphic designers to design engaging learning experiences, and ensure the alignment of training initiatives with business goals. The AIDM will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), and stakeholders, to understand the training requirements, gather content, documenting the requirements, and assisting and mentoring the instructional design team.
Key Responsibilities
• Leadership & Team Management
o Lead, mentor, and manage a team of instructional designers and graphic designers to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of learning solutions.
o Provide guidance, feedback, and support to instructional designers to enhance their skills and career growth.
o Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that promotes creativity in learning design.
• Instructional Design & Development:
o Oversee the design, development, and implementation of learning content (synchronous and asynchronous learning)
o Collaborate with SMEs to gather content and other input materials that meet business needs and address knowledge gaps.
o Ensure the instructional content is pedagogically sound, learner-centric, and aligned with industry best practices.
o Effectively use tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise and Camtasia to develop digital learning content.
o Possess good knowledge of SCORM and Learning Management Systems such as Moodle.
• Business and Learning Needs Analysis:
o Front end brainstorming sessions and project initiation meetings to gather project requirements and document the same.
o Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to assess learning needs and identify skills gaps that will be addressed with the digital learning content.
o Use tools such as surveys, focused group discissions, etc. to gather learner needs that will guide and inform the design process.
• Project Management:
o Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
o Develop and maintain project plans, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
o Provide regular updates to senior leadership and customer on project status, risks, and opportunities.
o Be the one-point contact for clients and possess excellent communication skills.
o Collaborate with other functional teams as needed to ensure the project goals are met.
o Work with external vendors such as translation companies to coordinate deliveries from them.
• Quality Assurance & Evaluation:
o Conduct peer reviews and ensure that the digital learning products are delivered without errors and are aligned to the projects requirements
o Create project guidelines and checklists for the projects
o Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in instructional design and learning development

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 10 years experience in Instructional Design.
• Proven experience designing and developing a variety of learning content, including eLearning, instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, etc.) and adult learning principles
• Experience designing adult learning material.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including leadership, SMEs, and other departments.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of emerging learning technologies (e.g., VR/AR, AI-driven learning tools).
EDUCATION

• Minimum education: Masters or Higher education, such as a degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Languages: Excellent written and spoken English.
