Educational Qualification: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

Experience : 5+ years of experience in networking as a network support engineer to senior network Administrator.

1. Networking Fundamentals:

Routing and Switching: A solid understanding of IP addressing, routing protocols (like BGP, OSPF), and switching ( Nexus Switching) concepts is essential.

WAN Technologies: Familiarity with MPLS, VPNs, and different WAN transport options (e.g., internet, leased lines) is essential.

Network Security: Good Knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols is important for securing the SD-WAN network.

SD-WAN Specific Skills: Strong understanding of SD-WAN technologies and networking principles and ability to configure and manage SD-WAN devices, policies, and applications is crucial.

2. Technical Skills:

Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automating SD-WAN tasks and managing network device.

Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud concepts, services, and networking.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze network performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot complex issues is required.

Cybersecurity Awareness: Knowledge of cybersecurity practices to protect network integrity.

3. Other Skills

Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration skills are needed to work with other IT teams and stakeholders.

Adaptability: Capacity to work under pressure and adapt to changing technologies.

4. Certification : CCNA/CCNP- Enterprise is required

5. Additional Skill Set : Microsoft Office ( Word, Excel) , Visio, Microsoft Azure , Amazon AWS will be an additional advantage.
