Summary :

As an Backend Engineer, you'll be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of AI-first applications and autonomous agentic workflows. You'll be responsible for designing and building frontier solutions that our partners and users trust. You will also lead deep technical research and development initiatives for AI/AGI, collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to define and deploy use cases across our platform.

In short, you will leverage the latest AI/AGI technologies to solve complex problems and create a new category of user experiences. This role reports directly to the Founder, and is based in our Singapore office, with a hybrid remote schedule, but ideally lots of collaboration and hands-on development.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, deploy scalable and efficient AI/AGI applications using Java/Go

- Develop and maintain high-quality, testable, and efficient Java/Go code

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/AGI within other systems and services

on our platform, and implement data pipelines and architectures

- Develop and maintain technical documentation and contribute to AI/AGI knowledge sharing

within the team

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- 2-4 years of experience in Python development, with familiarity with LLM APIs and agentic frameworks

- Proficiency in Java, including basic concepts such as data structures, object-oriented

programming, and file I/O

- Strong understanding database concepts, including data querying, data modelling, and data processing

- Base-level understanding of accounting and finance domain
