Test Analyst - Single Euro Payments Area (4-5 yrs)

We are looking for a skilled SEPA Test Analyst with 4+ years of experience in testing, particularly in the area of SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) payments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in end-to-end (E2E) testing, and a strong understanding of SEPA payments processes.

As a Test Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payment systems and processes by working closely with both technical and business teams. You will be involved in all phases of testing, from requirements analysis to the final verification of payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze the project requirements related to SEPA payments, ensuring they are clear, complete, and testable.

- Raise queries and defects, particularly using Static Data Testing techniques, to ensure accuracy.

- Create detailed functional test scenarios and test cases, identifying the necessary test data and ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

- Perform end-to-end (E2E) testing, verifying that all aspects of SEPA payments, from initiation to completion, function as expected.

- Ensure test coverage and traceability via Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).

- Execute functional and integration tests, using tools such as Jira and Confluence to track test execution and report defects.

- Work closely with business analysts, technical teams, and the business to ensure test scenarios align with business requirements.

- Present walkthrough sessions of test scenarios and test cases to the business, analysts, and technical teams, ensuring understanding and alignment.

- Work with onshore/offshore teams, ensuring clear communication and efficient collaboration across geographies.

- Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SQL/Oracle queries for test case management and reporting.

- Use MQ, API, and other testing tools to perform integrations and functional testing of SEPA payment solutions.

- Familiarity with GPPIP or GPPSP platforms is desirable.

- 4+ years of experience as a Test Analyst, with strong focus on SEPA Payments.

- Proven experience in end-to-end (E2E) testing in complex payment systems.

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SEPA payments processes and protocols.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present test scenarios and results to both technical and business teams.

- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for test management and defect tracking.

- Experience with MQ, API testing, and SQL/Oracle for data verification and backend testing.

- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is desirable.

- Experience with GPPIP (Global Payments Platform Interface Protocol) or GPPSP (Global Payments Service Provider) is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with Static Data Testing techniques.

- Knowledge of payment industry standards and regulations.

- Ability to create and execute automated tests using industry-standard frameworks (desirable but not mandatory).
