Role & responsibilities

Quality Control Leadership

• Lead and manage QC functions across all five manufacturing plants, ensuring alignment with corporate quality objectives.
• Develop, implement and monitor uniform quality control procedures and quality standards across all units.
• Act as the central authority to resolve cross-plant QC issues and ensure harmonization of practices.

2. Implementation of Quality Policy & Governance

• Drive implementation of company-wide quality policy with full compliance across plants.
• Ensure standardization and enforcement of QC protocols, including SOPs, test methods, calibration, and documentation.

3. Lab Modernization and Digitalization

• Champion digital transformation in QC labs including implementation of LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems), real-time sample tracking, and automated reporting systems.
• Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making and predictive quality analytics.

4. NABL & IMS Systems

• Ensure compliance and readiness of labs for NABL accreditation; lead documentation, audits, and assessments.
• Spearhead implementation and upkeep of Integrated Management System (IMS) ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 in all QC functions.

5. Lab Infrastructure and Safety Standards

• Define and implement best-in-class lab safety protocols across all units.
• Periodically audit lab safety compliance and ensure training of lab personnel on EHS norms.

6. Packaging Material QC

• Develop and implement robust QC checks for packaging materials at plants and vendor locations.
• Establish systems for vendor audits, incoming inspection protocols, and feedback mechanisms to procurement.

7. Quality Audits & Compliance

• Lead periodic internal QC audits across plants and at packaging vendors.
• Analyze audit findings, identify root causes, and implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action).

8. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, Procurement, EHS, and Sustainability teams to ensure quality alignment across value chain.
• Provide technical support in resolving customer complaints and ensuring continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

To lead and drive the Quality Control (QC) function across five manufacturing locations in India, ensuring strict adherence to quality policies, standard operating procedures, digitalization of QC processes, lab safety, packaging quality assurance, and system certifications such as NABL and IMS. The incumbent will be responsible for setting a robust and standardized quality culture aligned with Veedols vision of performance and reliability.
