Finance operations manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations for Insurance, Mutual Fund, and Equities services.
- Ensure smooth processing of client documentation, application processes, and policy updates.
- Manage and ensure timely execution of mutual fund transactions such as SIPs, redemptions, and switches.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the back-office team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics for the operations team to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Continuously review and improve operational workflows to ensure efficiency and minimize errors.
- Implement automation and digitization strategies to streamline back-office processes.
- Ensure that all back-office processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including IRDAI, SEBI, and AMFI guidelines.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations affecting Insurance, Mutual Funds, and Brokerage operations.
- Ensure proper documentation, audit trails, and risk management practices in place.
- Liaise with key clients and resolve any operational issues related to their insurance, mutual fund, or stock brokerage portfolios.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to clients, including portfolio statements, policy details, and investment summaries.
- Coordinate with brokers, fund houses, and insurance companies to ensure smooth operational processes.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in finance operations, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Good knowledge of financial products, regulatory compliance, and back-office systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle large volumes of work and manage multiple priorities in a fast- paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.
