Job Title: SEO Manager Job Summary: The SEO Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing search engine optimization (SEO) strategies that increase the visibility of the company s website in search engines, drive organic traffic, and improve conversion rates. This role requires a deep understanding of current SEO best practices, analytics, keyword strategies, and a passion for staying updated with the latest trends and algorithm changes in the digital marketing landscape.
Key Responsibilities: SEO Strategy Development: o Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and rankings. o Identify key SEO KPIs and regularly monitor and report on these metrics. Keyword Research Optimization: o Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify new opportunities and optimize existing content. o Work closely with content teams to implement keyword strategies in content creation. On-Page Optimization: o Optimize website content, including meta tags, headers, URLs, and images, to improve search rankings. o Ensure website content is aligned with SEO best practices, including proper use of internal linking. Off-Page SEO Management: o Develop and execute link-building strategies to increase the site s authority. o Manage relationships with external partners, bloggers, and other influencers to improve off-site SEO.
Technical SEO: o Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on the website, including site structure, page speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, and crawlability. o Conduct regular site audits to identify and fix technical issues that could impact search rankings. Analytics Reporting: o Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools to track site performance and user behavior. o Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on SEO performance, traffic trends, and areas for improvement. Competitor Analysis: o Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. o Monitor competitor SEO strategies and make recommendations for improvements.
Collaboration: o Collaborate with the content, marketing, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital marketing efforts. Staying Updated: o Stay current with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends, algorithm updates, and industry news. o Experiment with new SEO techniques and tools to improve the company s online presence. Qualification: Education: o Bachelor or Master Degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: o 6 years+ of experience in SEO. Experience managing SEO for a large-scale website is a plus.
