Quality assurance Tester ( QA )

The incumbent would be responsible for:

Test case creation, timely updating, bug reporting, bug confirmation and exploratory testing

Functional and non-functional test specification, execution and reporting

Job Responsibility

Skilled in understanding Software Requirement Specification and identifying the required Test Scenarios. Experience in designing, implementing and executing test cases and reporting metrics on quality Extensive experience in Functional, System, Sanity, Compatibility, Usability and Regression Testing. Responsible for creating high level scenarios and writing, updating and/or delegating test cases for new features and/or feature enhancements defined in the development plan and Writing SQL Queries.

Experience in designing, implementing and executing test cases and reporting metrics on quality Strong problem-solving skills needed to identify, research and resolve problems Should have good logical and analytical skills to comprehend business requirements and convert them to test cases independently Drafts, revises, and maintains test plans, test cases and automated test scripts. Executes test procedures according to software requirements specifications.

Hands on testing experience within a whole range of Component testing, functional testing including UAT, acceptance and system testing, both manual and automated testing. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and a passion for working in highly collaborative environments.

Nice to Have: Knowledge on test automation skills using Selenium and other automation tools. skills in writing SQL queries and good knowledge on database
