Job Description
The key responsibilities of this position are as given below:
1.Taking x-ray images of patients and also making a copy (film) of their skeletal structure for diagnosis and treatment purposes
2.Calming patients down and making sure that they fully understand how the procedure works
3.Covering the patient(s) with protective materials to avoid over-exposure to radiation, which is harmful
4.Studying the x-ray films so as to be able to prepare a detailed report of what was discovered for the physician-in-charge
5.Arrange timely delivery of the reports to the patients and doctor.
6.Contributes to a safe and secure environment for patients, by following established standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
7.Keep records of X-Ray films and generate demands as per need
8.Ensuring that repairs and replacement of diagnostic equipment are done in a timely manner
9.Making and keeping copies of x-rays.
10.Respect strict adherence to the patient confidentiality
Other Indicative Requirements
Educational Qualifications
Degree / Diploma in X Ray Technician.
Functional / Technical Skills and Relevant Experience & Other requirements (Behavioral, Language, Certifications etc.)
0 -3 years of experience in X- ray field with good knowledge and skills.
Good communication and documentation in English and Hindi
Data analysis, reporting and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel extensively in remote areas
