Maths Teacher

Role & responsibilities :

• Planning and teaching -Math teachers plan and deliver lessons that are engaging and developmentally appropriate for their students
• They also ensure that lessons meet the curriculum standards
• Assessing Math teachers- assess students' performance by grading assignments, quizzes, tests, and homework
• Providing feedback- Math teachers provide ongoing feedback to students about their progress
• Connecting math to the real world- Math teachers help students connect the math they are learning to the real world
• Enforcing rules -Math teachers collaborate with school administration to enforce rules of behavior, class participation, and conduct
• Adapting instruction- Math teachers adapt their teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of different learning styles and abilities
• Staying current -Math teachers keep up with changes and developments to the national teaching curriculum
• Safeguarding -Math teachers are responsible for the welfare of the children and young people they are responsible for.

Preferred candidate profile :

• MSc Mathematics (specialization in mathematics), or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Math Teacher
• A thorough understanding of best practices in teaching
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organized, flexible disposition. Outstanding interpersonal skill
