Devops Engineer

About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with over six years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing DevOps best practices, automating workflows, and optimizing system performance in cloud and on-premise environments. This role involves close collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery pipelines and robust infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

CI/CD Pipeline Management:

Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Integrate automated testing frameworks into the pipeline for efficient software delivery.

Cloud Infrastructure:

Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

Automation & Configuration Management:

Automate deployment, monitoring, and incident response processes.

Use configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to streamline environment setups.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting:

Implement and maintain monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK stack.

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to ensure high availability and reliability.

Collaboration:

Work closely with development teams to design scalable and secure architectures.

Collaborate with QA teams to integrate automated testing and ensure quality releases.

Security & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

Perform regular vulnerability assessments and implement fixes promptly.

Performance Optimization:

Identify and address bottlenecks in system performance.

Conduct capacity planning and ensure scalability of systems.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation for systems, processes, and workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Bamboo.

Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar).

Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with version control systems (Git).

DevOps Best Practices:

In-depth understanding of DevOps principles and Agile methodologies.

Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Professional DevOps Engineer).

Experience with microservices architecture.

Knowledge of advanced security practices for DevOps.

Familiarity with service mesh solutions (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
