Designation: Business Development Manager/ Sr. Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Development:
- Develop and implement long-term business strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Identify new opportunities in the exhibition industry, including untapped markets, partnerships, and collaborations.
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and manage relationships with high-value clients, exhibitors, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations and strategic client engagements.
3. Team Leadership and Mentorship:
- Lead and mentor the business development team, setting performance targets and ensuring their alignment with company objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
4. Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to maintain a competitive edge.
- Use insights to refine the companys exhibition offerings and value proposition.
5. Revenue Growth and Deal Management:
- Drive the sales pipeline by identifying, pursuing, and closing high-value deals.
- Negotiate complex contracts and agreements to secure profitable partnerships.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with operations, marketing, and design teams to ensure seamless delivery of exhibitions.
- Align sales strategies with overall organizational goals and event execution plans.
7. Representation and Brand Building:
- Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote the brand and generate leads.
- Build the companys reputation as a trusted leader in the exhibition industry.
8. Reporting and Performance Analysis:
- Regularly monitor and report on sales performance, revenue growth, and market trends to
senior leadership.
- Use data to forecast future business opportunities and set achievable targets.

- Strong negotiation, networking, and client management skills.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on driving long-term business growth.
- Proven ability to manage and lead sales teams effectively.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

- Experience in managing large-scale exhibitions and high-profile client accounts.
