Job Description

We are currently seeking a self-motivated, creative and talented Software Test Engineer for our Test Engineering team. An ideal candidate thrives on exposing issues and improving the quality of our state-of-the-art trading applications. Test Engineers are constantly challenged to understand complex trading systems, uncover software issues in our trading platform through testing, provide feedback that can help enhance our end-user experience, and provide information about usability to stakeholders in the organization.

What Will You Be Involved With

Design, develop and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical design specs.

Assist in reproducing, investigating and debugging software issues in coordination with the Development team.

Recommend product improvements, usability enhancements or corrections in coordination with the Product Management team.

Collaborate with a team of testers to constantly improve and enhance each other s skill sets and arsenal of test tools.

Design and Update the automation framework to support new features or fix automation issues.

Manually test new features thoroughly before automation is developed

Responsible for testing product releases via a combination of system-level automated and manual tests..

What Will You Bring to the Table

3+ years experience with developing and running automated tests using python language.

Experience working in the financial industry specifically in Trade surveillance or Compliance or Market Abuse monitoring systems is a big plus.

Experience in developing automation for big data testing, including data ingestion, data processing, and data migration, is highly desirable.

Experience testing web applications and using Linux preferred

Experience working with AWS cloud services preferred

Strong understanding of software development life-cycle and test engineering principles and processes

Strong analytical skills and commitment to continuous testing improvement

Strong expertise in REST API testing and SQL is required.

Familiarity with Playwright or other browser application testing frameworks is a significant advantage.
