Purpose:

Job description is a part of Company Quality Policies and Procedures.

This standard defines the tasks and responsibilities of ManagerEHS for Tema India Ltd in the Achhad Works.

This standard is valid for all employees associated with this role.

The Manager–EHS. shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Supervising daily work activities & identified unsafe acts/ Conditions & resolve them consulting with shop incharges.
• Dealing with TPI agencies & carried out Annual tools/tackles inspection.
• Maintain record all statutory compliances related to HSE matter & dealing with govt. authorities about it.
• Online submit monthly water cess data /Environmentoring data / Annual hazardous waste return data/ Annual environmental statement to MPCB portal.
• Carry the safety induction trainings of all new coming staff as well as contract labors
• Monitoring the housekeeping as well as Scaffolding activities at all shop floor.
• Prepare all accident register with CAPA & implement the preventive actions along consulting with shop incharges.
• Prepare & Maintain the ISO-14001 & OHSAH-18001 documentation & implementation safety checklists at shop floor.
• Carry & maintain the internal safety audit record of the plant & dealing with govt. authority about external safety audits.
• Carry Annual Health check-up of all employees & maintain Form-07 Health register.
• Carry safety inspection of all fire fighting equipments & dealing with vendors about servicing/refilling of them.
• Regularly carry safety tool box talk & safety trainings of all employees to increase safety awareness.
• Ensure Safety compliance by employees/ workman at shop floor.
• Maintain daily safety observation records.
• Installation of safety posters/ signages to remind the workman about safety
• Conducting safety programs like safety week / World Environmental Day celebration at plant to increase safety awareness.
• Dealing with hospitals related to medical treatment of our injured labors.
• Dealing with store dept. about replacement of damaged tools/ tackles & PPEs.
