Aws Architect

Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Design:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud-based solutions for Engineering and Computing.
• Familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Experience with Serverless Architectures.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure AWS best practices are followed in Glue, Lambda, EKS architecture.
  

Key Services - Airflow, Glue, Lambda, EC2, ECS, EKS, ECR, Kinesis, Lambda, Secrets Manager, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, Cognito, KMS, SQS, EventBridge, SNS, API Gateway

Spark Development:

• Lead and actively contribute to the development of Spark based applications using pyspark or Spark SQL.
• Experience with ETL/DWH and SQL is a plus.
  

Key languages/framework - Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, PLSQL, Airflow, Gitlab CICD

Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key services - Kubernetes, Airflow, Gitlab CICD, Glue, Lambda, EMR, EKS, Kinesis, Redshift,CloudWatch, CLoudTrail, X-Ray, Splunk

Monitoring: Set up monitoring and logging for applications on AWS.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as an AWS Technical Lead with a focus on Data Engineering and Computing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, Spark, SQL and AWS.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Should be AWS certified.
