Data Architect

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering

- 10-12+ years' experience in enterprise data management framework, data security, data modelling, database design, DWH and compliance.

- 5 Years plus in Microsoft Cloud technologies, including :

1. Azure Datalake

2. Azure Synapse

3. Power BI

4. Azure Analysis Services

5. And Microsoft Database Technologies

6. Microsoft SQL Server On-Premise

7. Azure SQL Database

8. Azure SQL Managed Instance

9. Azure Postgres Database

- Able to compile and organize statistical information retrieved and present findings to management, prepare detailed high level and low level design documentation

- Strong computer skills and ability to use necessary databases and software

- Interpersonal and excellent communication skills are required to be able to produce documentation and articulate well during presentations to senior CXO stakeholders from the client's team

- Excellent multitasking skills and task management strategies

- Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously.

Desired Skills :

- Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.

- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies.

Responsibilities :

- Provide data architecture strategy, provide recommendations on the same to product development teams working on various data touch points for the client

- Create, maintain and develop a governance model on the data architecture through training, design reviews, code reviews, and progress reviews.

- Work with designated Customer's team to develop robust Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes for disparate data sources.

- Collaborate with Technical Architecture team members to ensure alignment of architectural standards.

- Participate in evaluation of emerging data-related technology and tools, with particular focus on Microsoft.

- Analysis and consolidation of the SQL servers estate

- Provide recommendations on how the enterprise's data will be stored and utilized to best provide actionable data and insights to Customers and Internal users

- Produce Design and implement scalable and efficient data architectures that support business goals, including data warehousing, data lakes, and real-time data processing.

- Produce design development of data products, through robust architecture, data governance policies, ensuring data quality, integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations (GDPR)

- Deliver Data Migration Strategy for Customer assigned projects

- Prepare and deliver Data Architecture Strategy and Roadmap

- Complete the analysis document for the consolidation of SQL servers

- Execute detailed design and migration plan for Data movement to Cloud

- Document detailing pattern for data model and update WIKI pages
