Business Analyst
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to identify and understand their needs, goals, and objectives.
- Conduct meetings and workshops to gather requirements, elicit feedback, and align expectations.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to establish trust and open lines of communication.
Requirement documentation and analysis:
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional and non-functional specifications.
- Document user stories, use cases, process flows, and other relevant artifacts as needed.
- Conduct thorough analysis of requirements, ensuring feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
Collaboration with technical developers & QA team:
- Collaborate with technical teams, including developers, designers and QA engineers, to elaborate on requirements and ensure accurate implementation.
- Provide guidance and support to developers during the design and development phases.
- Review and validate wireframes, mockups, user experience designs and test cases to ensure they meet business requirements.
User acceptance testing:
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality and usability of developed solutions.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet business needs and are of high quality.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues, working closely with the development team to resolve them.
Quality product delivery:
- Take ownership of the overall product delivery process and ensure that deliverables are of high quality and meet stakeholder expectations.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in business processes, systems, and workflows.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business analysis and apply them to enhance the delivery process.
Requirements:
- 4+yrs of experience in Business Analyst.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to document effectively and articulate complex business requirements.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, process modeling, and other business analysis techniques.
- Experience with user acceptance testing and defect tracking.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies is highly desirable.
- Relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus.
