We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 5-8 years of experience in Python automation and API testing. Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python to ensure scalable and reusable solutions.

- Developed and executed test plans, test cases, and automation scripts to validate APIs, backend systems, and integrations.

- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements.

- Conduct performance and load testing for APIs to ensure optimal application performance.

- Identify, analyze, and document bugs and track their resolution.

- Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests into the development lifecycle.

- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and practices to ensure high-quality releases.

Mentored and guided junior QA team members in testing practices and automation.

- Strong programming skills in Python and experience in building test automation frameworks.

- Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.

- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, their architecture, and common testing techniques.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.

- Experience in testing tools like Selenium, Pytest, or similar.

- Familiarity with database testing and SQL queries.

- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.

Nice-to-Have :

- Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

- Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Behave.

- Familiarity with security testing practices and tools.
