SAP SD Consultant - Support & Implementation (5-8 yrs)

Role : SAP SD Consultant

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP SD solutions.

- Configure and maintain SAP SD modules, including Sales Orders, Deliveries, Invoicing, Pricing, and Customer Master.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP SD processes and configurations.

- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the SAP SD environment.

- Design, develop, and maintain IDOC interfaces for data exchange between SAP SD and other systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, WMS).

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IDOC processing and data mapping.

- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all integrated systems.

- Integrate SAP SD with Salesforce CRM, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization between the two systems. Configure and maintain integration points and data mappings.

- Support business users in utilizing the integrated Salesforce and SAP SD environment.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian tax regulations within the SAP SD environment.

- Configure and maintain tax determination procedures, including GST, TDS, and other relevant taxes.

- Advise on tax implications of business transactions and provide guidance on tax-related reporting requirements.

- Participate in SAP implementation and upgrade projects as required.

- Conduct impact assessments and provide recommendations for process improvements.

- Support the implementation of new SAP SD functionalities and enhancements.

- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.

- Document business processes and prepare functional specifications.

- Conduct user training and provide ongoing support.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and Sales. Share knowledge and best practices within the team.

- Proactively identify and address potential issues.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP SD Consultant.

- Strong understanding of SAP SD core modules (Sales Orders, Deliveries, Invoicing, Pricing, Customer Master).

- Expertise in IDOC interfaces and data integration.

- Experience with Salesforce integration with SAP SD is highly preferred.

- In-depth knowledge of Indian taxation laws and regulations (GST, TDS, etc.).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Technical Skills :

- SAP SD configuration and maintenance

- IDOC interface design and development

- ABAP programming skills (desirable)

- Salesforce integration with SAP SD Microsoft Office Suite
