Job Description

Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for selling IT products and services, generating leads, managing customer relationships, and working closely with the field sales team, vendors, and distributors. This role requires a strong understanding of IT Security, software, services, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts). & Projects The ideal candidate should have experience in inside sales, B2B lead generation, cold calling, and account management in the IT industry..

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Business Development

  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and inbound inquiries.
  • Engage with decision-makers in IT, procurement, and business teams to understand their requirements.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and work towards monthly/quarterly sales targets.

2. Sales & Customer Acquisition

  • Promote and sell IT hardware (laptops, desktops, servers, networking equipment, etc.), software (Microsoft, VMware, security solutions), and IT services (AMC, managed services,etc.).
  • Prepare and share quotations, proposals, and pricing details in coordination with the pre-sales and procurement teams.
  • Follow up with clients to close deals and ensure a smooth sales process.

3. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention by providing timely support and solutions.
  • Manage customer accounts, renewals, and upselling opportunities for IT products and services.

4. Coordination

  • Collaborate with field sales teams, distributors, and OEM partners to ensure smooth execution of deals.

5. Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends to the management team.
  • Stay updated on IT product offerings, vendor promotions, pricing updates, and industry trends
  • Recommend strategies for improving sales performance and business growth

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales, B2B sales, or IT sales (products & services).

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of IT hardware, software, networking, cloud, and managed services.
  • Experience with B2B lead generation, cold calling, and sales closing.
  • Knowledge of IT procurement, licensing, and service-based sales (AMC, managed services, etc.)..
