We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to teach Grades 3 to 5. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in environmental science, life sciences, and basic physics & chemistry, along with the ability to create an engaging and hands-on learning experience for young learners.
Responsibility :
Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver interactive and engaging science lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum (CBSE/IBPYP/IGCSE, as applicable).
- Use experiential and inquiry-based learning methodologies to make scientific concepts fun and relatable.
- Conduct experiments, demonstrations, and hands-on activities to develop students’ curiosity and problem-solving skills.
- Integrate STEM-based learning and real-world applications into science lessons.
- Foster a collaborative and inquiry-driven classroom environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and explore concepts.
- Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and formative assessments, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
- Utilize technology and digital tools to enhance the teaching-learning experience.
- Organize science fairs, field trips, and special projects to provide students with practical exposure.
- Communicate effectively with parents and school administration regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Participate in staff meetings, curriculum planning, and professional development programs.
Requirements: - Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field. B.Ed. is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in primary grades, preferably in an international or CBSE/IB curriculum.
- Strong understanding of child-centered and inquiry-based teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Passion for fostering a scientific mindset and curiosity in young learners.
SkillsDescription :
Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with CBSE/IB/IGCSE curricula.
- Experience in conducting STEM activities and hands-on science projects.
