- Coordinate and oversee extracurricular arts programs, including clubs and workshops.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate arts education into interdisciplinary projects.

- Mentor and support teachers within the department to enhance instructional practices.
- Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.
- Stay updated on educational advancements in arts education and implement relevant best practices.
- Engage with parents and the community to promote the importance of arts education.
- Conduct performance evaluations for teachers within the department.
- Implement student assessments and feedback mechanisms to enhance learning outcomes.
- Coordinate professional development opportunities for staff in the arts disciplines.
- Advocate for the arts within the school and promote cultural initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with IB policies and standards in all arts programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Fine Arts, Education, or relevant field; Master s preferred.
- Teaching certification in relevant disciplines.
- Experience in leading a Performing and Visual Arts program in an educational setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in various performing and visual art forms.
- Strong understanding of the IB curriculum framework.
- Proven track record of enhancing student engagement and success in arts.
- Experience in project management within an educational context.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students and staff alike.
- Experience organizing arts events, performances, and exhibitions.
- Familiarity with assessment and evaluation methods for arts education.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity in diverse educational environments.
- Commitment to continuous professional development in arts education.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
